Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.

What Happened At Our "Rotarians at Work Day" on Saturday, April 15, 2017.

Only smiling faces at the El Cajon Rotary Club!
Stu and Bonnie Scott hosted the club at their home on Saturday, April 15, 2017 for our annual work party.  The club built and painted 10 picnic tables to be given to local organizations.  THANK YOU STU AND BONNIE
Bonnie Scott always has a great smile on her face.
Sean and Erick making sure the tables don't fall apart.
Max started the day a little tired so he took advantage of the first table to be made and took a nap.
Some of our club members having a truly great time on Saturday.
Jean Daily got into a fight with her paint brush and lost.
Bonnie Scott and Jamie Lundy enjoying a moment to smile.
We had a great assembly line going on Saturday and completed our 10 tables in a quick 4 hours.  Way to go team!
Talk about a handyman.  Steve Swaney is clearly a talented craftsman.  He wielded the router all day cleaning up the edges of the tables.  He also shared several funny stories with us to help keep the day going by very quickly.
Carol Quidort and her daughter, Renee were a huge help in the paint department!
Renee Quidort having a great time.

WORK!
Larry IS ALWAYS volunteering for our work days and ALWAYS has a mile on his face.  And that helps keep us all going.  Thanks Larry!
After his refreshing nap, Max got to work and was a huge help.
Sean Kelsey was a mad man with the cordless drill and took care of most of the final build stage.  Very nice job Sean!
Of course, there is always time for a quick break.
Tim stepped up the game with the painting crew and did a terrific job until he had to leave for a little TLC with his car.
OK Tim,  How do you drive so that a nail is driven into the side of your tire?  With a lot of talent I guess.
Not only does Susan Ferrara have a great smile, she's also great with a paint brush.
Jamie Lundy having a great time painting.
Another table being loaded onto the trailer for delivery!
