What Happened At Our Club Meeting On Tuesday, April 4, 2017?
Only smiling faces at the El Cajon Rotary Club!
Sean Bradford started our meeting off with a wonderful prayer
PCharlie provided us with a touching memoir of Sergeant Alvin York, known as America's greatest hero of WWI. Charlie recounted a story about this amazing man. Sergeant York came home and was offerred riches for his endorsement. Holleywood offerred him many opportunities which would have made him a very wealthy man. He turned all of this down to go home to his quite life in Tennessee. The only thing he accepted was a home and land that was presented to him by the Rotary Club.
Another great mug shot of Kristine getting ready to devour a wonderful lunch.
WELCOME TO OUR GUESTS
Dana hosted her sister, Linda MacFarlane, at our meeting on Tuesday. WELCOME LINDA!
Once again this week, we enjoyed another fantastic lunch by Rita at the El Cajon Elks Lodge. Join us next week for another great program and lunch!
OUR PROGRAM on April 4th , 2017
We enjoyed a wonderful program this week as we learned a huge amount about sleep disorders from our Dr. Laurel Morello.
Dave Waters introducing our speaker of the day, Dr. Laurel Morello. Laurel is a past member of our club and has contributed a great deal over the years to 1000 Smiles, an organization our club supports. Laurel provided an in depth review of sleep disorders and a true history of our oral development over human history. Extremely interesting presentation.
Carol Quidort introduces her daughter, Renee, as our newest El Cajon Roatary Club member on Tuesday. WELCOME RENEE!
Stu shared with us that Jean has smelly feet (never would have guessed) and washes them by having little fish clean them for her as she did on her recent cruise vacation. We all had a ball!
