Dr. Jenny Farah, Assistant Clinical Professor
Emergency Medical Services During Pandemic

Dr. Farah was raised in a rich EMS culture, starting with her father, a paramedic of over 40 years, and continuing with her brother, an EMT-Firefighter. Her academic interests include EMS at the US-Mexican border, prehospital analgesia and paramedic education. She currently serves as the UCSD Base Hospital Medical Director, Medical Director for the Chula Vista Fire Department, and Medical Director for the San Diego Fire-Rescue Paramedic Program. Jenny has also produced a number of podcasts and now contributes regularly to EM:RAP - Emergency Medicine: Reviews and Perspectives. She was born and raised in Burbank, California. In her spare time, she enjoys singing, musical theater, and watching Notre Dame football.
