Only smiling faces at the El Cajon Rotary Club!
Everyone attending our meetings has the pleasure of checking in each week with Dana and Jax.  Who wouldn't enjoy that!
The El Cajon Rotary Club annual gala is fast approaching.  This year, the theme is "El Cajun Fest".  Let's Blow This One Up This Year!  Everyone buy a table and bring your friends.  Let's show them how much fun we have!
We've got an EARLY ADOPTER in the crowd!  Way to go Joe!

We were treated to a "Who Am I" from our newest club member ,Renee Quidort, today.
Ginger, Mike, and Kristine lighting up the meeting early with fun and smiles.
Susan and Ginger enjoying a little socializing before the meeting started on Tuesday.
We ate another great meal on Tuesday made by Rita's Catering.
Wait a minute.  Everyone else got short ribs.  How did Jax score a juicy ribeye?
If you'r not in these pictures, you missed out on another great meeting at the El Cajon Rotary Club.  Please join us next Tuesday when our speaker will prove to be extremely interesting.  She is the author of an intriguing book titled  "A Foreign Affair".
Our Program Today
Salvation Army Captain, Sean Kelsey ( we refer to him as "Our Captain") of the El Cajon Corps, provided us with a truly wonderful and thorough presentation today about the Salvation Army.  He started his presentation by reviewing the history of the Army as it began in London,  England 152 years ago by William and Katherine Booth and now serves in over 127 countries around the world.  A unique fact to know is that the Salvation Army is extremely efficient in leadership and decision making. There are only four levels of leadership in the entire organization.  A single General located in England.  Next there are Territorial Leaders.  Then the Divisional Leaders, and finally there are Corps Officers in each local Salvation Army location.
Sean provided a clear review of how the Army works and the many ways it serves the countless number of beneficiary's it helps each year.  He also reviewed the future plans for the El Cajon Community Center the Army is building right here in El Cajon.
President Cheryl Minshew thanking Sean for his wonderful presentation.
Thank You to
Dick for leading us in prayer today
Roger for leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance today
Shirley for leading us in the Four Way Test today
Sean for leading us in song today
