What happened at our El Cajon Rotary Club meeting on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018?
We had another great speaker this week!
The club enjoyed listening to Commander Robert H. Potter, Jr. with the US Coast Guard. Commander Potter is the Response Department Chief and Air Operations Officer for Coast Guard Sector San Diego.
Unfortunately, yours truly was not able to be at our meeting this week. That being said, I was not able to enjoy or reprot on Commander Potter's presentation.
A huge WELCOME to Our Newest Club Member, Gabe Mathews!
If Gabe is anything like his father Mark (which he is), he promises to be an amazing addition to the El Cajon Rotary club. Everyone should take some time to meet and get to know Gabe as soon as possible. When you do, you will very quickly see he is a bundle of energy with a true heart for serving.

Joe Mackey, Incoming President of the El Cajon Rotary Club, meets with his Gala committee. Knowing Joe and his committee, this gala is going to be something to remember!
The Clock Is Coming!
Cheryl Minshew is once again leading the way for our club in raising funds to have our own "Rotary Clock" installed in downtown El Cajon. Cheryl is well on the way to have our clock installed later this year or in early 2019.
You can get in on the initiative by purchasing a brick with your name on it. Here is a picture of what your brick might look like:
